He's getting lit up tonight (2 runs, 3 walks, 2 innings so far, and he's getting hit hard to boot). His velocity is down, and he hasn't looked very impressive (save the Blue Jays game). Do the Orioles just have his number, or is Pedro due for a disappointing season?
I got him pretty cheap in a trade, but I'm still concerned. What are your thoughts?
He's not really getting hit hard, he's only allowed 2 hits.
As far as god is concerned, if he starts using an energy consuming kind of blower or electric blanket, I’ll kick his ass too.

2 runs in 2 innings, i wouldnt fret. He should pick it up. Pitchers have their tough times. that isnt being lit up to me either. sit tight, he should be OK
When I say he's getting hit hard, I mean that even when he gets outs, they're long fly balls or sharply hit grounders. He's walking a lot of batters (some on 4 pitches). Maybe I'm just so used to Pedro being Mr. Automatic that it's kind of scaring me. So far this year, he's looked more like Pedro Astacio than Pedro Martinez.
