does vlad look like he
a) put on some weight?
b) is hobbling when he runs?
i'm not worried that much, i mean, who saw that shoelace golfball HR he hit off of pineiro (vlad pwnz pineiro, btw)
vlad has always had a funky stride, so it doesnt surprise me, but it looks like that back brace is getting to him.

yeah
he looks a little bit like he is running very upright, very cumbersome.

He's starting to look a lot like Manny Ramirez (in the way he carries himself on the field).

I think hes just tired. His knees look shaky to me as well.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Maybe he's HOBBLING because he's INJURED.

Vladimir Guerrero, who has been the DH the last two games, could continue in that role for a few more contests.
Tim Salmon has swapped spots with Vlad, going to right field. Guerrero is getting over a sore knee, which would heal quickly if they gave him a couple days off, but obviously the Angels would like to keep his bat in the lineup.

i see vlad with 5 or less steals this year, mainly because of garret anderson.
i think garret is going to hit .330 this year, something like .330/35/130, so vlad's not going to worry about running the bases.
vlad's going to be huge this year, i'm thinking .345/40/120
