Expos placed Everett on disabled list

San Juan, PR (Sports Network) - Montreal right fielder Carl Everett is expected to miss three-to-four weeks after being placed on the disabled list Thursday.

According to Expos assistant general manager Tony Siegle, an MRI showed a tear and a bruise in Everett's injured right shoulder. He got hurt sliding into second base during a 9-0 loss to Florida on Friday.

Everett, who is hitting .233, with one home run and two RBIs, was replaced on in the Montreal lineup by Ron Calloway.
