Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.

"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

No link to any cool game sites, but i just wanted to reel off a few of the games that i wasted my life on as a kid ( and what the hell, as an adult to).
Maybe they have different names in different countries, but here they are...
Arcade.
Galaga. Moon Patrol, Gabal, Pacland, ShaoLin Road,Twin Cobra. Birdie try...and of course Double Dragon. ( I should point out these games were all over a 10 to 15 year period so some technically are not old school classics).
Pinball.(not so old) Getaway, Batman, Star Wars( the one where you have to shoot the death star. It is especially great to hear Yoda say "mmmm, extra ball you have")
Sadly my favorite game of all time is a game whose name i cannot remember. It was a submarine game on one of the early Nintendo systems. Basically it was a scenario game where you had to successfully re-enact WW2 scenarios in the Pacific. It usually took hours to complete a mission with prolongued periods of lying on the ocean floor waiting for the destroyers to give up searching for you.
I think it was called Submarine combat or something. If anyone has any idea, please post it here, i would be eternally grateful.
I must say though, that the whole concept of dynasty modes for nhl, nba and mlb is awesome. Thay have been a little easy as far as the drafting and resigning is concerned. They should make it so that there are more injuries, arrests etc and morale problems which can only be solved by trading away a star player or something. After 5 stanley Cups in a row with the lowest team salary and highest attendance and revenues, it got a little stale. Occasional blatent officiating errors would be nice.

I believe the game you are talking about is Silent Service for the NES. I think I still have that game somewhere in my house.
As far as god is concerned, if he starts using an energy consuming kind of blower or electric blanket, I’ll kick his ass too.
