Bregman & Stroman for Kershaw, WHIR

Postby labardo31 » Sat Mar 10, 2018 10:30 am

Hi guys,

I'm seriously considering an offer received for Kershaw, but would like your input.

16 teams, 6x6 roto. Keep 6 per year. We have already completed our draft for the upcoming season.

Current roster:
C - Realmuto
1b - Morrison, Belt, W Flores (1b/2b/3b eligible)
2b - Kinsler
SS - Correa
3b - Donaldson
OF - Ozuna, Hamilton, J Upton, Mahtook

SP - Kershaw, Bundy, Salazar, Luke Weaver, Peacock, Porcello, Clevinger, Mikolas, Heaney
RP - Iglesias, Knebel, Jacob Barnes, Kirby Yates

I really like Bregman long term and he'd be a keeper moving forward. I have mild concern over Kershaw's back, but that's not my major hesitation in this deal. The guy sending the offer has won the league 3 years in a row and his pitching is as weak as it's ever been going into a season. I fear accepting this deal may help balance his team too much to the point he's poised for a 4th title.

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance, and leave a link if you'd like my two cents on an issue of your own.

No idea why you would consider that for Kershaw?

perhaps i'm too high on bregman. and not looking at this in the context of a one-year deal.

Yeah I'd hold off for now. Stroman has his own arm problems going on this spring too.

Anyone want to argue for Bregman?

I would not part with Kershaw. Top 4 pitcher and then there's everyone else.

If you are trading the #1 picture, you need to get 1st round talent in return.

Bregman is a good player.. But not good enough.

I agree with the others. Love Bregman but I'm not ready to let Kershaw go. Plus your pitching is very suspect. Losing Kershaw would kill you.
