I have giles and was hoping he'd return to form. I'm watching the game on ESPN and hate hearing... he won't do that [hit 37 hrs] here [petco]

I have faith in him. I'm sure he'll have a good year but will it be a 100-20-100 year or a 100-35+-100 year?

I think after playing a few more games at Petco the players will finally get used to it and adapt to the park.
I'm looking for Giles to hit 30+ this year

Adapt? They'll need steroids.

Petco's deep right center field fence is really going to suppress left-handed power. If you have Giles or Klesko and can get good value for them, it might be a wise idea to send them packing.
Phil Nevin, on the other hand, should be fine. Reasonable fences in left.

That's funny.
I just hear Joe Morgan say that folks orignally said that the Ball Park at Arlington was huge and then summer came along and boom!!!
I have faith in Giles. I'm sure he'll have a good year but will it be a 100-20-100 year or a 100-35+-100 year. It worries me.

To add a note --- no Padre home runs in Petco yet. It's only four games... but still.
