Cardinals closer Jason Isringhausen looked great Friday morning, as he threw to hitters for the first time since shoulder surgery. The Cards are confident that he'll be ready for Opening Day after a few exhibition game appearances. Isringhausen underwent surgery last October to re-attach part of the labrum in his right shoulder. Expect Izzy to share closing duties at the start of the season. "They'll have to watch using me on back-to-back days for a while," Isringhausen told the Associated Press Friday. "But if I can help them every other day, it ain't too bad."
"When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
