Before you tell me to relax and that it's the start of the season just hear me out.
AROD is a monster April player, look at the splits. The past two years he averaged more than an RBI a game duing April. He has 3 this year. Not much of April left. And last May, well, if he pulls another last May after the April he's had people are really gonna be concerned.
I'm holding on to him, he's just really depressing me at the moment :,-(

Actually, more than half of April is left. You know you're going to hold onto him, anyway, like you said. He will be fine.

The best fantasy player in baseball will get it into gear sooner or later

what are you talking about? arod buried the rangers the last few years because he was so poor in april. i can't tell you how many times i've seen him hit a pop-up or weak grounder or double-play ball when he had runners in scoring position with the rangers in april.
i say it now and stand by it. arod is awesome for fantasy but as an anchor for your real baseball team he ain't nearly as strong. he gets a ton of garbage time stats. sorry arod, come through in the clutch when the game still matters and i'll give you more credit.
the rangers, with worse pitching this year, will have a better record without him.
as for fantasy, don't worry about it. he'll heat up huge, if he can handle the pressure...which i'm not convinced he can.

If I was an A-rod owner I would definetly be a little concerned. It's not just the stats, its the way he looks at the plate. He doesn't look confident, when A-rod used to come to the plate he would strike fear in the hearts of his opponents and the fans of the opposing team. Now when I see him come up to bat I can't help but think... easy out

Seriously though he'll put good numbers, he just won't put up A-rod numbers, he won't even approach the kind of numbers he had in the past couple of years.

A-Rod will be A-Rod. It's that simple.
