beltran or sori??

Postby tiger spit » Wed Apr 14, 2004 5:41 pm

who would you rather have? after beltrans day today 4-5 2 hrs 4rbis 3runs 1 sb,, and he's not done yet, kc tied it up!!

i was offered a trade, sori and a. jones for my beltran and v. wells. its a first year keeper. i have no 2b right now and alot of of..beltran,wells,guillen,patterson,bradley,dye,

i am very tempted to pull the trigger on this since sori is at a very rare position, i know sori is starting off slow but being a yank fan , i know he is a very streaky hitter. he will go through a month soon where he'll hit everything but
i dont know it is beltran....
whatta you think fellas??????? :-?

Soriano because he is capable of 40 HR/ 40 SB, and is at the weakest fantasy position, 2B. I do expect a huge season from Beltran though, especially since its his contract year.

If it was Beltran for Soriano straight up, i would do it. But since you have to throw in Wells and get A. Jones, I wouldnt. V. Wells is quite a bit more valuable than Andruw Jones in my opinion. I would recomment countering Beltran for Soriano straight up, and remind the owner of how well Beltran did today.

I agree with the last post. Beltran for Soriano is tempting, but not if you have to give up Wells for Andruw as well. After Beltran's awesome game maybe you can get Soriano in a 1-for-1 deal.

It all comes down to AJones for Wells. Soriano and Beltran is very close but Soriano has the 2B thing although Beltran will be out of K.C during or after this year so remember that.

Wells is suposed to be the sh*t but the Jays don't run so Wells doesnt get to show his speed. Jones doesnt run anymore so it is even but Wells is a better hitter.....

I would stay with what you have and wait for Weekes or B.Phillips to show up or even trade for Reyes. Actually trade for Reyes...........
