5x5 keeper draft-WHIR

Postby goods5119 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 8:21 am

Drafted last night. Have an elite group of keepers, so I was focused on bankable stats in the draft. 10 team, 5x5. Keepers are obvious, but I bolded them anyway

C-Travis d'Arnaud
1B-Paul Goldschmidt
2B-Daniel Murphy
3B-Kyle Seager
SS-Elvis Andrus
CI-Miggy Cabrera
MI-Josh Harrison
OF-Mike Trout
OF-Andrew McCutchen
OF-Hunter Pence
OF-Christian Yelich
OF-Kevin Pillar
Util-Mark Teixeira
Util-Khris Davis
Bench bats-Howie Kendrick, Matt Holliday, Yan Gomes, Yasmany Tomas

Felt like, with such a great foundation, that I could target boring veterans while others were targeting buzzy kids. Can't imagine that I won't keep the same four next year, unless Miggy falls off a cliff(I think he's going to bounce back with a huge season)

P-Clayton Kershaw
P-Corey Kluber
P-Stephen Strasburg
P-Justin Verlander
P-Patrick Corbin
P-Hector Rondon
P-Glen Perkins
P-Santiago Casilla
P-Jason Grilli
Bench arms-Kevin Jepson, Corey Knebel

Closers went crazy early, I was near the turn and missed the entire first tier. Rondon was the best option when it came back to me, as the four picks prior were Familia, Robertson, Britton and Melancon. This is not a league where you can just grab saves on the wire, every closer-in-waiting is gone, too.

Guess I'll try to add the WHIR and see if anyone is out there?
