Which is going to have a better season not taking into account position scarcity because both are third basemen in my league

Tex will get more RBIs and homers because of his posistion in the lineup. He has been showing some patience at the plate also. Both are good, though. Great question.

This year: Blalock.
Who I'd want for the next 10 years in a fantasy league: Blalock. He'll be a Hall of Fame 3B in Texas. 3B is more scarce than 1B (or OF if Adrian Gonzalez pushed Teixeira there).

I would take Blalock over Tex anyday....he will give you an avg. around .300, 30 HR's, and 100 RBI's.
Tex will get around 30 HR's and 100 RBI as well, but probably with an avg. around .270.
