His WHIP isn't THAT bad today, it's only 1.28. It's not like it was 3 or something, and with a 0.00 ERA you definitely shouldn't be upset.

What's really amazing, is that jon garland for the chisox did it against the yankees last week through 5 innings...7 walks 4 hits and 1 run...that's amazing...

I watched the game. Miller struggled all game, he could not get throw strikes.

What happen?

HE is simply so good and his stuff is so nasty he was able to strike guys out and get some double plays. The Cards never even really threatned him for runs, except for 2 outs, 2 men on, and Pujols took him DEEP to the wall. Nice catch by Berkman.

My thoughts on Miller's first 3 starts.....ive seen both. start one he didnt walk anyone and was nasty surrendering just 2 runs.

Second start he had problems throwing strikes and walking guys but was always able to come through and only gave up 2 base hits.
