There have been a number of anti Bowa threads around here - and for good reason too - but I wanted to start a new one for the best last place team in the majors.

Lets start with the batting order - how would you line them up if you were in charge?

What else would you guys do to try and spark this club into hitting a bit more?

What personel moves would you guys make.


It just seems to me that with all that talent, this team should win their division. What would you do if you were in charge?

They need a high OBP guy at the top. They've tried Rollins, Polanco, and now they're using Byrd. All 3 are sub-par leadoff guys. Now Byrd can still develop, but he Ks way too often.

I'd bat Byrd, Polanco, Thome, Burrell, Abreu...

and get rid of Rollins. He's solid defensively, but a liability offensively.

would it be crazy for me to suggest Abreu hit 2nd ahead of Thome?
