Rangers place Callaway on DL

Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers placed pitcher Mickey Callaway on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with an ulnar nerve injury.

Callaway complained about tightness in his right arm in his start against Oakland on Tuesday.

In two games, one start, Callaway is 0-1 with a 23.14 ERA for the Rangers this season.

In a related move the team recalled pitcher Ryan Drese from Triple-A Oklahoma.
