Last I heard he was questionable for today's game. I've got him benched until I see him play a full game

Patterson, who was removed from the starting lineup Monday when he felt tightness in his right groin while warming up, could be back on Wednesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

SPIN: The Cubs are taking no chances with his comeback from left knee surgery in July. They called his injury a mild right groin strain and played Tom Goodwin in center. ''It was extremely cold out there today, and we didn't want to take a chance of losing [Patterson],'' manager Dusty Baker said. ''Hopefully, he will come in [Tuesday] for treatment and be ready Wednesday." The Cubs are off on Tuesday, so there's a chance that Patterson won't miss any more time, but keep in mind that muscle strains are unpredictable.

Thank guys. I think I'll keep him on the pine until I see him play a full game.

He started the game today. He's running out there in center field and looks fine to me.
