Currently playing -- Ichiro. I don't remember the last guy who was so much fun to watch whether in the box, in the field or on the bases.
All-time -- I have to say Pete Rose (maybe that answers my above question), but there are SO many it's hard to choose.
Great topic Ben.

first....props to benny for the topic, and the most unique favorites.....all-time player is an easy one for me.....Nails all the way....with Wally Backman a close second
but a current guy, ....get ready for Chris Snelling.....in the minors, one writer dubbed him "the Australian Lenny Dykstra"....so he HAS to be good.
YAHOO! RULES!!!!!

this is a great question...but my favorite now is my favorite of all time
Jeff Bagwell...as a reds fan i hate the astros...but i love this guy his size his attitude that crouching batting style...made me proud to be a righthanded first baseman in high school..plus it was great when he looked like a mountain man when he challenged the astros pitchers to not give up a homerun in a game...i swear i have a gottee still because of that.
but in the sense of fun i have always been a huge John Kruck fan..my home state WV...thats all we got...and George Brett lived in Martainsburg for 6 years..so there ya go
i appreciate your input!
