Is there any hope that he will improve as the season progresses? Do you foresee him out-batting K. Matsui?

If you had to go with either Tejeda or K. Matsui who would you take?

I'd prefer Tejada as well.

I've heard someone say that Camden Yards is not a hitters park. Has not Manny Ramirez belted several homers there?

I'd keep Tejada over Kaz. He's hitting .300 which is .30 over his lifetime average of .270. The power will come and the average will dip a bit, but he's still a good option. Too early to give up on him.

he is struggling a bit right now but he should pick it up. i watched him in his first series of the year in boston and he wasn't really locked on yet. he ended up with a decent average in the series but he had a bunch of scrub hits (slow rollers, grounders through the infield, bloopers).

i wouldnt say he's the man, but i'd agree that it's a much better line that last year and a better park.

i don't agree with the better .300 comment as that's only in 30 at bats (7 games).

help me out:

Tejada will be #3 SS out there

Postby Yankees Suck » Wed Apr 14, 2004 12:59 pm

I have Tejada and drafted him with my 2nd pick. A rod was gone so I to Miguel. He will be #2 or #3 SS in FBL this year. He needs the guys wround him to step it up though because they may pitch around him if there is no other threat.
