Beltre to start getting even better?

Postby Baseballer02 » Tue Apr 13, 2004 9:26 am

Seems he's actually been playing hurt.

"Apr 11 Ben Bolch of The Los Angeles Times reports Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Adrian Beltre (shoulder) noticed a slight lessening in the discomfort in his right shoulder and said Thursday's precautionary MRI exam indicated the worst was over. "I'm not worried that I can't keep playing and throwing even if it hurts. They say eventually it's going to get better, but nobody knows how long it could take," Beltre said. KFFL

i doubt he'll hit any better. even continuing at his current pace would be an optomistic prediction.

Beltre is the real deal this season! :-B And to think, I got him for only a buck when I was expecting to pay three dollars! :-b

But seriously, I cautiously expect great things from him O:-) 8-o

he should finally realize some of his potential now that he has more protection in the linup...

lets hope he gets traded to the Rockies ;-D
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
