tough to say but graves looks pretty good right now, but kolb will get his - the only thing that bothers me about graves is wagner breathing down his neck, but cinci may keep him there as it's boosting his trade value - if it's of any value i drafted kolb before graves...but id say they are close, maybe kolb with a bit of an edge (this may change if graves continues his quality), maybe graves is actually better now that he's a closer again?
help ya? didnt think so...

Brewers had the most save opprotunities last year if that counts for anything this year....

theyre pretty equal, provided kolb doesnt return to the level of suck he was at before last year. id probably lean to graves just as a proven commodity. both are safe choices though.
theyre coming.....

Graves because of sp/rp eligibility.

Id say Kolb. Hes younger and has a slightly stronger hold on the job than Graves. My biggest worry for Graves owners is that he will be traded at some point this year and go to a contender as a middle reliever. Hope it dosent happen but I wouldnt be surprised.

I do worry about Graves being traded. Cincinatti is very open to the idea, and feel comfortable letting him go because of his high salary and Wagner's presence.
As long as he's in Cincinatti, I don't believe he'll lose his job to Wagner. Graves has proven himself as a closer for several years, and they aren't paying him 5 million to be a set up man.
Even though I am a little worried, I grabbed Graves with the last pick in both drafts, and I'm going to ride him until something does happen.

I like Kolb because the only thing that he has going against him is the fact that he is more prone to injuries. If he's healthy, he's proven to be a competent closer last season.
Graves has too many question marks that prevents him from being a long-term closer solution.

I like Kolb a bit more because of the lingering trade talks around Graves. If he gets traded to a contender, he probably wont be a closer. Also, the brewers wont take too many big leads and give Kolb more save opps.
