What do you think of Fantasy All-Star teams during break?

Postby CubsFan7724 » Tue Apr 13, 2004 12:15 am

I was just thinking, how about the time close to all star break we choose players from AL and NL, with a poll to decide who. Is this done by the site already? If not I'll volunteer to be in charge of setting up the polls and forums. After the teams are selected, the week after all star break we can keep track of the stats for the week and see which team wins in standard 5X5 H2H scoring. What do you think of this idea?

Yahoo does have Mid-Season leagues, unless for some reason they are getting rid of them this year.

When I read the topic, I thought you wanted to draft the All-Stars and Play a 1 game season using those players. Of course you couldn't draft an entire team, but have a draft and each grab like 3-4 players and add up there stats in the All-Star game.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Having our own vote for an All-Star team is a cool idea, I dunno about the week-after thing, sounds kinda kooky to me.

The competition between the 2 teams does sound sort of pointless to me, just like the real all star game. :-b . So you all like the voting thing then? I run it then when it comes time ;-D .
