Drew came out for a pinch-hitter in the ninth after tweaking his left hamstring on a flyball the inning before. He said he didn't think it was serious.
Probably nothing serious, but who knows with paper doll Drew.

Stop the presses! Outfielder J.D. Drew is hurt...again. Drew strained his left hamstring while running down a fly ball in the eighth inning of Monday's game against the Mets. "I was going for that fly ball and it kind of locked up and spasmed on me," Drew told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "It's strange because I felt great running around [until then]. My left hamstring was fine [previously]. The right one's been tight about a year now." Team trainer Jeff Porter labeled the strain as mild.

Ironman Cal Ripken was feeling pretty nervous for a while, but Drew finally went down with his first injury of the year. Drew could be back by Wednesday, but knowing his history, J.D. could also miss three weeks. We should have a much better idea on his future status when he is re-evaluated on Tuesday.
