Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Twins signed veteran lefthander Terry Mulholland on Monday after a 6-3 loss to the Cleveland Indians at Jacobs Field.
Mulholland, who will join the team on Tuesday, was cut by the Seattle Mariners before the start of the season. In 10 exhibition games, he went 3-1 with a 4.05 ERA and one save.
Last year with Cleveland, Mulholland went 3-4 with a 4.91 ERA in 45 games.
Minnesota will designate pitcher Brad Thomas for assignment when MulHolland joins the club. Thomas is out of options and will either be released or traded.
