bUMp
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I'd rank them like this..
Graves - off to a nice start, excells in closer role
Mesa - also off to a nice start. maybe he has turned it around?
~~~~~~
Herges - will keep job until Nenn is back.
Leskanic - will only hold the job until MacDougal is back
~~~~~~
Koch - horrible. would rather punt saves than run him out there.

I'd say Herges.
I'm biased, having vowed to never have Jose Mesa on my team. Ever.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

Graves - better than Mesa, will not lose Closer job unless traded, which is a possibility. Wagner is the future, not the present
Mesa - the most job security and has good career #'s.
Herges - it all depends on Nenn, if I knew if Nenn was done for the year, Herges would be 1st on this list, in my opinion.
Koch - will keep job if he pitches well, but he's not that great and the Sox have options
Leskanic - won't be closing for long
Yanks in '08!

Koch
That's exactly how I see it, too (minus the Leskanic prediction, which still seems completely unclear).
People hate Koch, and I can understand why. But although he's at the bottom of that list I wouldn't be too surprised if he turned it around this year.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
