Cubs put him in just to get him some work in a non save situation and he got lit up for 3 runs and 5 hits in an inning. Startin the week off right with a ERA of 27 and a WHIP of 5.

I know, I hate when my closer's in in a non save situation. The risk/reward just isn't there. I was holding my breath yesterday when Philly put Wagner in just to get him some work. I picked up 2 points in my points league and was risking losing about 12-13.
What the hell, Dusty? He's starting to rival Jimy on my hit list. The dude rides his pitchers hard as hell, probably worst in the league, and now sticks in closers in non-save situations. Great.

oh thats so annoying, I just took first place in my league last night thanks to Beckett and others and immediately gave it back today thanks to Borowski. Completely agree with above, why oh why do you put a closer in a game in a non-save situation. Makes me angry.
managers want there closers to get regular work. sometimes teams can go weeks without a save situation. the risk/reward might not be there in the fantasy world, but in real baseball its there.
You guys do realize that a save is an essentially meaningless statistic to a manager trying to win a baseball game, right? Borowski came in in a meaningless situation to work on a pitch. Doesn't really hurt the Cubs to lose 13-2 instead of 10-2, and Borowski got some work.
Sucks if he's on your fantasy roster, but it happens, and you certainly can't criticize Dusty for it.
