1999 332/25/99
2000 315/20/85
2001 310/13/89
Those are solid years for a backup/fill-in 1B
Then he and the Reds crapped themselves
However this year the team is mostly healthy and playing in a hitters park, so far Casey is hitting 455/0/7 and not missed anytime due to injury
I feel he will be a solid guy to have this year and be around 320/20/95 in this lineup (assuming Kearns gets his butt together) and am loving having him as my backup 1B
What does everyone else think about him after a good start and his history of injury and also his teams injury history?

I feel that he is tremendously underrated. He was a solid player in the past and if the Reds lineup can stay healthy past May this time he is an excellent backup.

Sean Casey is the greatest human being to ever live. However, from a fantasy stand point he doesn't strike me as all that vauable.
If I'm gong to have a back-up 1B-man, there are so to have, I'd prefer one with some other eligibility (Tex, Dunn, Klesko, etc.)
My predictions:
.310/16/102
