I know it's early, but wouldn't it be nice if he had a hit in his last 12 or 13 at bats and had a ba above .090?

currently no phillies players are really wanted but burrell!
as a phillies fan, this lack of offense is scaring me!

i actually just looked at matheny's stats and they are sick so far. the guy worked out with pujols this offseason....maybe he taught him a few tricks?? should i drop lieberthal for matheny in my 8 team money leaguer??
charles johnson is there too. 3 homers, 7 rbis and a .400 avg...wow.

I have Lieberthal. Getting to the point where I might have to sit him down but no way I drop him for someone that could easily (or likely) be just a flash in the pan. Eventually, I'd like to get a second C since they get rested so often and not having another would prevent me from getting 162 games out of the position. But I need to find a player to drop first. Good chance Matheny or another hot player will still be available for another week or so.

I have Lieberthal, but fortunaely also have C Wilson and Lo Duca.
I'm sitting him until he comes arround. To the original poster, I
would not drop Lieberthal, drop someone else and pick up Estrada,
or someone like him until Bowa is fired, then I think you'll see the
Phillies come arround.

It's getting to the point where I'm looking at people to pick up, but as for people to drop I don't have a lot of room, probably Riske or Valverde.

hes been terrible so far, just like the phillies. They'll both come around, just how long will it take?

i thought the same about burrell last year. i know lieberthal doesn't have near the expectations that burrell had but i'm wondering if i should drop escobar for charles johnson or matheny and get 4 bench hitters and 2 bench pitchers instead of an even 3-3.
