I live in Chicago and was watching the game. I think the cold weather had alot to do with his performance today. It was 41 degrees at gametime and the wind was 23 MPH. He was constantly blowing into his hand and I don't think he could grip the ball correctly. I think when it warms up he'll be much better.

he looked terrible today. My cubs are going to lose the home opener . maddux just didnt look in control. Dont expect too many K from him, he was never a strikeout pitcher.
