ON a 2 day waiver period...

If a player was put on waivers or dropped on APRIL 9th isn't he available for your roster on the 12th (if you claim him before 11:59PM on the 11th)?

2 days means 10th and 11th and by 11:59 PM claim period. After that it should go into effect on the 12th or the person should be a FA available for the 13th...

Am I correct?

Because this is not happening in my leauge.

Nope.

This is the way it works: You drop a player anytime on April 9th. The two day waiver period does NOT start that day; day 1 is ALL of April 10, and day 2 is ALL of April 11th. You get the player on April 12th, but cannot use him that day; he will be available to use on April 13th. This is because players acquired on a given day cannot be used on that same day (go ahead and see for yourself--if you pick up a free agent today you'll see that you cannot use that player for today's games; you can only start using him for tomorrow's games).
