The difference between the two is that desi was rounding first base at full speed going for a double, and chipper jones was about 10 feet up the first base line.
Desi was expected to be back in 3-5 days until they saw some additional tearing in his hamstring. I seriously doubt Chipper did that much damage to himself.
You aren't a doctor are you? I would love to hear that from a Doctor to make me feel better. Chipper, Griffey, Preston Wilson are all in my OF, Chipper (I thought) was the only sure-bet.
