Hopefully they are just being over cautious. Giving him time not only to heal but also to build up some strength in his hammys. Factor in the minor league rehab time so he can get his bat back.

Hamstrings don't heal quickly. Speed is Reyes game. Look at the Saints Donte Stallworth. That {guy} has had hammy problems going on 5 years now.
