My current and only 2 closers on my roster are Gagne and Riske.. We must start 2 closers a week.. available closers are DBaez TB , Biddle Mon and Chacon CO.. Will Riske snap out of this funk or should I go ahead drop him or keep Riske and pick up one of those 3 f/a's and which one? Thanks to all who answer!

WHat kind of league starts two closers.....thats a league that puts WAAAYYY to much value on saves...

I wouldnt touch any of thsoe guys you mentioned, they are WHIPO and ERA killers.......and do you HAVE to start a second closer....is there a penalty? If not leave it open.....your WHIP and ERA will thank you.

We are mandated to start 2 closers. So basically if I understand correctly you think I should stick with Riske instead of picking up either Baez, Chacon or Biddle?

I would drop Riske for Baez. Baez is pitching on a better team, and has PROVEN he can close well.

kc, I think you have been living under a rock. Many leagues have open spots for more than one closer. It is not always mandatory, but there is NOTHING unusual about it.

I will agree that the others mentioned can be WHIP and ERA smashers, and that leaving the spot open is an option. It all depends on the league. If this is a 4x4 or a 5x5 league, I would opt for any of the other three, with an emphasis on Chacon. I'm pretty sure that Chacon is the only viable option in Colorado.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Keep Riske for now. He might be fine. One more implosion may result in a change, though. But, I'd still hang onto him for now.

can you start any reliever or must it closer if so go with Baez but if rules allow you may opt for a middle reliever that would better help ERA and Whip
