IT cost $150 right now. On Monday it will be $170.
Is it honestly worth it?
I get to see every Yankees and Mets games and most Braves games. I would love to be able to watch My fantasy players.
The big problem with Extra innings is that You don't get every single game. Like today games like The Texas- Anaheim game isn't on and I wanted to see it. Also the Reds game wasn't on it. I have it for free till Monday.
Yeah i have been trying to watch some games on there like some of the Yankees games, but they have been blacked out every time that i have attempted to watch them
I dont like it. I usually get 3 games a day here anyway, so it doesnt do much for me, Its hard enough to follow 3 games at the same time I could use an NFL one though
I think it is worth it. I have noticed there have been fewer games on per day so far, but last year I would get 7-10 games a day, and you can't beat that. Plus we are only talking about $150 bucks here, not a very big investment for a 6 month season. $6 bucks a week or so? Peanuts for all that coverage. Plus nothing beats seeing the players with your own eyes, especially if you do a lot of lineup shuffling.
Eternal vigilance is the price of integrity.

Ive gotten it the past 3 yrs. I love. They avg about 60 games a week on it. The games that are blacked out are the ones that your local provider is showing on another channel. Otherwise its on if they have it scheduled. I dont get anything but whats on ESPN,ESPN2,Fox or local games for Braves w/o it. So i love it. I'm not 100% on this, but i this is the 1st year DISH has gone with the MLB extra innings packages for its customers and i think it may be in HD. I know watching ESPN in HD is awesome but ill ask my friend who has DISH about MLBextra inn. if its HD. I just thought he mentioned it was.
I had to move from NY to NC so for me its awesome.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I've loved it this week because there have been so many day games (I work at night). I also love being able to catch the end of some West Coast games when I get home. If there were more day games over the course of the season I'd definitely get it.
I love it also. If you have the time to take advantage of the games offered, it's great to have. I don't think there's much else good on TV, so I have baseball going every night, and I can flip back-and-forth to see how my fantasy players are doing. Like one guy said earlier, $6.00 a week isn't bad.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'
