winn, ichiro, cameron = the worst outfield in the majors.
(well, 2nd worst: the mets have floyd, cedeno and burnitz. once floyd goes down with injury UGH.)
they have the potential to hit a HUGE 40 hrs.
and thats if cameron hits 30.
which isnt likely.
this team SUCKS.
are there any homerun threats on this team at all?
not a single guy in this lineup to scare even the weakest of pitchers.
i wouldnt touch anybody on this team (pitchers included) with a 10 foot pole.

Find a better defensive outfield then Cameron/Ichiro/Winn. As far as hrs, its only a piece of hitting. No one other then probably Bonds would have big SAFECO hr totals. Go look at Camerons home/road splits. Hes very good on road. Seattle stunk so bad they won 93 games. Your league will gladly scoop up on your refusal to pick Mariners. Garcia/Sasaki/Boone/Olerud/Cameron/Ichiro are all worthy roto players. Your loss.

and edgar has fallen apart over the last 3 years.
and theyve lost the last of their star players and their manager in that time.
and they still havent replaced john olerud
or dan wilson
or found a third baseman. or shortstop.
and their 116 win season was way over their heads. bret boone and ichiro couldnt match those numbers last year. and wont this year either.
i'll repeat... THIS TEAM SUCKS this year for those who cant catch the implication.
Edgar has declined, but his 888 ops was better then the mvps Tejada. Seattle is better then 20 teams easily, they dont suck. Why should they replace Olerud, hes a good hitter.

I am by no means an Ichiro fan. BUt I have to say that apparently pitchers do "fear" him because he led the American league in intentional walks last year.
