Lofton scratched with quad injury

Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - New York Yankees outfielder Kenny Lofton was scratched from Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox because of a tight quadriceps.

In five games this season, Lofton is hitting .211 with four hits in 19 at- bats.

Lofton signed with the Yankees as a free agent this past off-season.
