Candy Cummings was the first, he did it on 09-19-1876
I'm not sure exactly who your looking for, but I'll guess Monte Ward, he was the 2nd pitcher to accomplish this feat and he did it on 08-09-1878.

I would have gotten there eventually, Joe McGinnity actually did this 3 times in the same Month
