12 team 6x6 (Standard + OBP/QS), keep 5 without penalty

I sit 11th (out of 12 teams), no chance of making the playoffs and the trade deadline is August 17th. I keep 5 players without penalty, Here is my roster:
C- Suzuki
1B - Belt
2B - Kipnis
3B - Holt
SS - Desmond
OF - Springer
OF - Dickerson
OF - Choo
Util - Brantley
Util - Morse
BN - Heyward
BN - Pedroia
BN - Bryant
SP - Beckett
SP - Chavez
SP - Stroman
SP - Kluber
RP - Cishek
RP - Frieri
P - Melancon
DL - Wacha

The bolded players are my potential keeper pool. I would like to keep one of Kipnis & Pedroia and trade one away for a decent pick next season. Both are having down years, which would you rather keep?

Clearly I'm in rebuilding mode which is why i'm high on keeping Bryant, Brantley, and obviously Springer. Heyward i'm not sure about, I still think he will prove himself but i'm unsure if he is worth a keeper spot, but then again what would I reasonably get for him? And I am also unsure about Desmond i feel he would be an ideal candidate to trade for a first round pick, he went 20/20 last 2 years and looks like he will again, but his AVG, OBP, SLG, and OPS are all down from last year so I'm not sure what to do with him.
I have a lot of question marks, so what 5 should make the cut in your mind? And who should i trade and what trade value do they hold?
Thanks, and of course, WHIR

I think you are bang on with your keeper pool, I would pass on Heyward too.

As for Kipnis vs Pedroia, I think the torch is being passed.....Kipnis all the way......with youth on his side, and more speed.
