I wanna win---trade Cutch for stats

Postby plamb23 » Fri Aug 08, 2014 4:58 pm

12 team 5x5 roto keeper (12 keeps)

Roster:
C Rosario/Vogt
1b Ortiz Butler fielder Vargas
2b Walker Valbuena
SS Escobar Hardy Jeter
3b Beltre ARam
OF Trout Cutch BHamilton Pagan Heyward Cruz
P Bumgarner King Felix Cueto Quintana Grienke
RP Kimbrel KRod Nathan Soria Benoit Mejia Casilla

I am leading by 5 points at the moment, the guy in second has 10 closers (I'm leading him by 15 SVs at moment) and he has the offense to catch me. I have great all around stats minus Ws (I hate wins) need RBI and sustained ratios to hold steady

Would you take this offer? Don't think it will seal the win but very tempted to do it. I want people on my team for a W not just pad future-----Cutch is sooooooooo valuable ----too much so?

My Cutch, Fielder, Soria, Jeter, and Vogt
for
His Bruce, Yelich, Josh Harrison, Street, Rodney, and Addison Reed

Whir

Thanks

Is it a straight keeper, meaning, you can just keep Cutch and still have a 1st round pick next year, etc.

If it's straight keeper, I wouldn't deal Cutch, he is too valuable, he's probably the #3 or 4 player in fantasy.

If I were to trade Cutch to try and win now with him missing time for the rest of the year, I'd trade him for a big upgrade at SS and 2B. Can you get a stud at the middle infield from a team that is out of it and wants to build for next year (with Cutch)?

I think you're right Griffey, it's worth a shot for sure

It's a straight keeper, no $ or draft spots tied to keeper

Yeah then see if you can get a better package....it's always better to win now but with Cutch in this situation I'd want to get more back in return.

Thx for your help.

As this us a keeper, I'd hold Cutch and work a Fielder trade. He has good value and if you still have to sell at a modest discount, you can still pull in assistance without the sacrifice.

G'd luck.

Get a better present deal. Too many of the guys you are getting back (Yelich) have their value tied to the future. Get back a name that is better in the present than in the future and get more of them to win. They will come at a lower cost.

Reed is bleh. Street is a stud this year. Bruce has done nothing much...I'd keep Cutch. Harrison is sell high for sure don't bite.
