Should I pick up Alfonzo for Lowell?
Lowell had a horrible 2nd half which doesnt make me confident in his 2003.
Zack Greinke...the next Greg Maddux. LOOK IT UP!
For what it's worth.

I think I would, their numbers may be pretty similar this year, except Alfonzo probably helps out a little more in the avg category and has potential for bigger RBI numbers. They both have back problems and with Lowell, you pretty much know what you're going to get. Alfonzo behind Bonds may have a big year.

Florida has a good lineup with Juan Pierre up there to get in scoring position, and I-Rod, Lee, and Lowell add good production. Take Lowell easily over Alfonzo. Alfonzo has been talked up so much this year just because he's hitting in the same lineup as Bonds. However he's hitting behind Bonds so he's got little protection (unless you think Santiago is huge protection). Don't believe the hype. Take Lowell.

I would take Lowell because he has halves that have been incredible. he is still young enough to think he might be able to put to good halves together. Alfonzo should improve, but has been awful and was not powerful at all last year. Personally, Alfonzo is one guy to avoid. he is way too unpredictable.
You don't need a quadraphonic Blaupunkt, what you need is a curveball!....
