Brewers can hit, or Cards cant pitch?

The ole Brew Crew has already put up 11 again today, this after 8 and 7 on monday and tuesday. So, whats the deal? Are all those ex-Dbacks enough to make the Brew a great hitting team, or are the Cards in serious need of pitching?

cards pitching is just terrible right now. the brewers are decent bats but the cards are pitchers are just throwing up meatballs right now. brady clark should not be hitting two home runs in one game even if it were at coors.

The Cards pitching is well, not good. Larussa will have to work some majic to keep them in contention this year.

Yeah, I thought the Cards contending with that staff would be hard. I mean, unless Carpenter turns it around totally and they get great years from Morris and Suppan, it might be a long year in St Louie.......

Woody Williams and Morris are the key to the Cards season, if those two don't win at least 17 games each, it will be a long season for the Cards. I don't see Carpenter or Souppan stepping up and winning 17.

it's a little bit of both, but more hte cardinals sucking than the brewers pwning.

podsednik established himself last year, and looks to be capable of continuing to perform, tho he's been up against crappy AAA caliber pitching thus far =D

i dont like the cardinals rotation; woody williams, who inexplicably was awesome as a cardinal since coming over from SD as a 4th-5th high ERA starter, came back to earth in the 2nd half of the season despite riding his early season greatness to 18 wins, he looks like he's lost "it' from early viewing and he'll probably go back to being a 3rd-5th starter quality pitcher anytime soon now. who do they have after that? i dont know. whats funny is that when you see generic repackaged HR highlights you can tell when it's simontacchi by those funky lookin socks.

The Cards' staff sucks. And I say that as a Cards' fan. Moreover, Woody and Matt have been totally abused by LaRussa the last couple years. So I question whether those two have enough gas in the tank to win 17.
