Peter Gammons has made quite a few predictions of this year, his most notable are always the breakout players. In ESPN he published that Affeldt, Derrek Lee, Jack Peavy, and Adam Eaton are poised to become stars. So those are the four people you should trade because Gammons curse is about as reliable as the Bambaino's. He said Preston Wilson, Esteban Loaiza, and Joe Nathan will fall this year. Hopefully I can trade for one of these three. I don't understand why he always picks people on my team to rise, I have both Affeldt and Lee. We already know Affeldt's fate, so his magic has begun to work already. Who needs to look at stats, just look at the worst of experts .

Who has he cursed in the past?

Here's some more names that I remember. Dunn and Drew. I had to question his manhood after I saw the drool ooze from his mouth when he talked about these two.
Gammons is insightful, and probably the the most intelligent baseball writer. That said, his predictions are probably often right as often as anybodies. (expect for maybe basball prospectus or Bill James)
he at least didn't pick anyone my team to break out
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
