I like Lyons1991 team better. You focused a lot of your efforts on batting. But ignored your SP and RP. He did a solid job of building his team across the board. You will have a great offense but no pitching which will probably put you both very close in the standings as he's solid but not spectacular in hitting but really good in pitching.

IMO in a league that shallow your pitching staff is unacceptable. His offense could theoretically outperform yours. There is no way in hell you will ever touch his pitching. I'd take his team. Sorry.

The shallowness of the league plays in my favor not against me, which is why I decided to go with the strategy I did. Part of it was flow of draft but I'm very confident in the way my team came out. Ideally I would have another one or 2 proven arms but I feel i still have a chance to compete in pitching every week while I have a chance to completely dominate hitting.

Although for a 10 man league.. Yeah I agree the pitching is weak. But I don't see Team 2 competing with you in any of the hitting stats. Too many studs there.

The pitching you still may be able to fluke against him. Ks & Ws & even S's are all areas you will be able to compete in week in & week out.

I would take Team 1. The foundation is there for the pitching. Yes, no legit ace. But tons of upside pitchers. Additionally, I think you can continue to develop and build the staff through the wire. Pitching will be found there whether its matchup plays, or guys that come outta no where.
