This must be nostalgia night. Other than #715 my most vivid memory of Aaron is an odd one. Those of us who were fortunate
enough to see him play will agree that he was not an emotional
player, just did his job without pzazz. That, in my opinon is why
most think Willie Mays was the better player. Anyway, I was at a
Braves game one hot July afternoon, when a player for the other
team hit a ball that clearly bounced over the fence and should have
been a ground rule double. The fans(more than usual, I was in the
upper deck outfield) went nuts. Aaron went ballistic and argued
with the Ump, call was reversed. Funny how the unusual sticks in
your mind.
