Waiting On SP Advice - Help

Postby buckfever1974 » Mon Mar 17, 2014 11:17 pm

Hey guys. I am in a H2H Points league (SPs - 2/inning, 1/K, 10/W, -5/L, -.5/H&BB, -1/R)

I landed Cabrera with 3rd overall pick followed by Encarnacion and Cargo. In points leagues these guys are studs. Problem is in most public, non-expert, leagues, pitching flies off the board and the top 12 SPs went before my second pick followd by 2 more before my 3rd pick. At this point we are near the end of the 3rd and no more starters have gone. WIth that said, I need solid SPs in H2H where, wins, innings and Ks are the way to go.

I kind of like getting the top four guys as long as Sanchez can stay healthy. Who are the bets guys out of the top 15 that could finish there is maybe the best question?

James Shields - KC
Anibal Sanchez - DET
Matt Cain - SF
Gio Gonzalez - WAS
Mat Latos - CIN
Bailey, Homer SP CIN
Alex Cobb - TB
Mike Minor - ATL
Masahiro Tanaka - NYY
Gerrit Cole - PIT
Jered Weaver - LAA
Greinke, Zack SP LAD

Greinke followed by Shields...I wouldn't hesitate to make them my 1, 2 in a points league...The rest of those pitcher are all fine and should net you around 400 pints...Good enough to fill out your roster.

Agree. Like Shields and Greinke. Sanchez is good in points leagues also.
