HELP final keeper: Jay Bruce of Greinke? WHIR

12-team H2H; 6x6 with OPS and Holds; keeper league without penalties (* - indicates a possible keeper; 8 keepers total)

C – V. Martinez
1B – J. Votto *
2B – B. Zobrist (2B,SS,RF)
3B – C. Headly
SS – T. Tulowitzki *
LF – R. Braun *
CF – M. Trout (LF,CF) *
RF – Y. Puig (CF,RF) *
Util – C. Gomez (CF) *

SP – M. Scherzer *
SP - Z. Greinke (SP) *
SP – Matt Moore
SP – K. Medlen
RP – Casey Janssen
RP – Jim Henderson
RP – Glen Perkins
P – S. Doolittle (RP)
P – LaTroy Hawkins (RP)
P – P. Corbin (SP)

BN – J. Bruce (RF)
BN – A. Craig (1B,LF,RF)
BN – D. Ortiz (1B)
BN – C. Crisp (LF,RF)
BN – N. Swisher (1B,RF)
BN – D. Carpenter (RP)

Should I keep Jay Bruce or Zack Greinke with my final keeper? I don't trust Puig. I think that his 2nd half of last season is what we can expect. Regarding stolen bases, I don't think that he'll run all that much; his success rate was rather low last season. So, I'd love to keep Bruce. However, I will need pitching. I have been successful in grabbing timely pitching off of the waiver wire (like Corbin), but that can be a lot of work. Maybe I should keep Bruce and then draft the best pitcher out there with my first pick in the draft. Maybe that will end up being Greinke. What do you think? Bruce or Greinke for my final keeper spot?

I appreciate any suggestions. WHIR

Ok so if you don`t want puig and bruce is your guy I think I would go with zobrist...Nothning special but won`t hurt you in anything really, and 2B and SS. He usually has an 800 ops or higher, hits some dinger and might net you 15 bags...not bad for a "nd baseman....that's what I would do...But if you can make a trade, put puig`s name out there....his value is sky high right now ad you might be able to get something good in return.

Can you trade?
That sucks because you don't have an open roster slot for him. Normally, I'd say to keep the bat over the arm....but the rest of your OF looks great already...

Thanks for the reply! I can only keep 8 players though. So it's down to picking 2 between Puig, Bruce, and Greinke. (I do like Zobrist BTW. He had kept him the last few seasons.)

Unfortunately, there is no off-season trading in this league. I'm not sure why. But I guess that I can consider keeping Puig and Bruce and then trading Puig for pitching.

Puig's value and hype is too high to not keep. Someone will love him much more than you do. Greinke can be replaced with some solid drafting, but Bruce's power/consistency is much harder to find. I'd keep Bruce/Puig then find a trading partner for Puig. Worse case scenario, trade Puig to the guy who drafts Greinke lol

I would go with Puig/Bruce as well. And if you need pitching you should be able to get a better one than Greinke with one of them.

Please help;

I would keep Puig over both, he probably has more value to flip (than Bruce or Greinke) if you don't actually want him.

Greinke just because your outfield looks good as is.

Usually I say take the bat but your OF is all set. Greinke is pretty good
