any1 else dissapointed with Jerome??

I had high hopes for him this year, many of you did as well. But with all this talk about sending him 2 the minors and what not, Im glad I dropped him in favor of Edwin Jackson.

I still think he will be fine... Houstan is not a pitcher friendly park... where as his home park is very pitcher friendly. He was facing a good lineup with clemons on the mound and still went pretty deep in the game... he will be fine... drop edwin and pick him back up

I think Jackson is riding the minor/major fence as well.

Last I read, the Giants were NOT planning on sending Jerome down as they are short-handed as it is(Schmidt, Nen).

I'm not sure you can make a case for EJ over Jerome right now, but I encourage you to try for all of our benefit ;-D

I'm seeing Jerome dropped in many leagues and chalking it up to early season jitters, a fantasy no-no. Well, in fairness, that all deopends on who you are dropping him for. As I said, I don't think EJ's chances are too much more promising although he does have huge long-term upside.

I agree with canibus. The kid has talent and pitching in the Giants home stadium is worth keeping him a while longer before dropping him for the likes of Weaver and/or Zambrano. :-o

I have him on one of my keeper leagues and plan to keep him on the bench for now and watch his progress. I'm fortunate to have good SP's on this one team to allow me the luxury of benching Williams, but I agree that his upside is much greater riding my bench for now than being dropped to free agency and possibly kicking myself at the end of the season for doing so.

Hmmmm . . . . someone just dropped Nomo in this same league. Looks like I'll be dropping Leskanic to pick him up once he clears waivers. :-°

Just my .02 cents. ;-D
