One of my first posts on this board about 2 weeks ago was watch out for vogelsong... He has flithy stuff... I picked him up in my two leagues which are both very deep. 14 and 16 team leagues that start 9 pitchers each. I just have a feeling... he reminds me of adam eaton last year... Not CY young but worth a spot in deep leagues

The game is going on right now, he has 2 strikeouts and no hits/walks in the first inning. Everyone needs to keep any eye on the game, it may be too late to pick him up if you wait until later tonight. I actually started him today...may be dumb though, who knows.

Great, is he striking out these guys with fastballs or breaking balls or offspeed pitches? Any idea?

hmm he seems like he has good control, but is this guy may just be another version of his fellow staff member, oliver perez... we'll see... i'm impressed so far.

LOL, gotta love the sudden influx of "Ryan Vogelsong vs. XXXXX" posts. I hope everyone realizes he is kinda still a rookie, and will have his days to get shelled. Never judge a pitcher on one performance, give them at LEAST 3 or 4. That being said, pick up Vogelsong and wait to see how he does in his next few.

p.s. I have Affeldt as well, and am not panicking...yet.
