Keeper advice

Postby efudge » Fri Feb 21, 2014 8:47 pm

Okay for my head to head league this year we are only allowed two keepers cause a new guy joined and is taking over a crappy team. So I need some keeper advice, also we drafted a small minor league roster last year a it was decided that everyone gets to keep the minor leaguers they drafted, so I already get to keep, Yasiel Puig, Billy hamilton, and Julio Teheran. Now for the two keepers from my MLB roster I am between Cano, Edwin Encarnacion, Max Scherzer, Chris Sale or Alex Cobb. Any ideas? Im leaning toward Cano and Edwin. Also our league has 14 stat categories, 7 pitching and 7 batting so they are weighted equally. Thanks

Teheran for free gotta like that...
E5 and Cano are easily the choices when you have that few keepers go with the bats.

I'm out on E5 and think he has an absurd amount of hype because of a year that his peripherals don't support. Also, I think that people and vastly overlooking the impact Cano's new team and home park are going to have on his numbers. I'm not touching either player. I would keep Scherzer and Sale as both will likely, have solid chances at getting Cy Young votes this season. Nothing has changed, no cause for concern with either player and each is absolutely elite.
