This is not true at all. Who bats in front of Piazza? Matsui? Posada batts 6th behinf A-Rod, Giambi and Sheff. Honestlky who would you rather have batting in front of you.
true. but i still think there's inherent value in batting 4th in the rotation.

true. but i still think there's inherent value in batting 4th in the rotation.
both of the points are valid but the thing is that when completely healthy Piazza is one of the best hitting catchers of all time, should put up better numbers than Posada hitting anywhere form 3 to 6 on any other team than last years Dodgers.
