Everyone is a little edgy due to poor performances out of their fantasy teams, but let's all try to relax. It's the beginning of a long enjoyable season.
no problem Dr. Phil, i mean Madison... jk man i know your like the wise Yoda of this site... relaxing is harder than it sounds when u have ppl like chip opening their mouths though... Manutd016 had a valid point asking what the point of this thread was.
And yes, i am the victim of two Mussina shellings, and a Valverde and Marte meltdown... i deserve to let off a little steam here and there.
But you gotta be happy about Vlad's performance so far today--2 for 3, 2 runs, 1 homer, 3 Rbi
ya, Piazza is looking like his Dodger-self so far...very encouraging. I'd be rejoicing as well if I had him. And since I'm a life-long Dodger fan, I'm sincerely happy he's doing well...Go Pizza!
It was nice to see him move to 1st and get that fifth hit rather then removing his bat from the lineup ... despite the score.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
No player in the games gets as hot as Piazza does. When Piazza is feeling it he is unstoppable. Unfortunetly he usually follows these power surges by not getting another hit for a week
Well if he stays this hot for a couple of days, can't wait to see him down in P.R.

It's starting off as the year of the catcher. Posada, Piazza, Pudge, and Lopez are all doing well. But so are the lower tier guys. Wilson, Johnson, Hernandez, Hall, Matheny, etc... It's still far too early to put too much stock into most of them, but it's nice not seeing your guy batting .150 with 4 rbi in three weeks.
i like posada as a fantasy choice better than piazza and thus drafted piazza. but one thing i failed to consider is that piazza bats cleanup for the mets while posada is in the bottom half of the lineup. that definitely creates more value for piazza.

This is not true at all. Who bats in front of Piazza? Matsui? Posada batts 6th behinf A-Rod, Giambi and Sheff. Honestlky who would you rather have batting in front of you.
