1) Schilling is healthy and will give you a hell of a lot more innings than Prior
2) He'll should win at least 3 more games and looks like a lock for 20+
3) He'll strike out MANY more guys than Prior
4) The only possible advantage that Prior offers is a superior ERA, but returning from an injury even that isn't a lock.
Based on past stats and his current health, Schilling looks like the best pitcher in the AL right now (unless Pedro gets his velocity back.)
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

obviously Schilling cos of Prior's injury
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

If not for the injury, then Prior is the obvious choice. But now i think Schilling is better.
